A Game Changer!

I have been a proud member of the Toronto Digital Photography Club (TDPC) for several years now, and I can confidently say that it is an incredible community for photography enthusiasts. Joining this club has been a game-changer for my passion for photography.

TDPC is a tight-knit family of photographers who share a common love for the art of capturing moments through the lens. Whether you are a novice just starting out or an experienced photographer, you'll find a warm and welcoming environment where your skills and creativity will be elevated and inspired.

TDPC organizes regular photography competitions, which are both challenging and motivating. They provide a platform to showcase your work, gain recognition, and push your creative boundaries.

These competitions have not only elevated my photography but also given me a sense of accomplishment and pride in my work.

Joining the Toronto Digital Photo Club has introduced me to a vibrant photographic community which provides both inspiration and collegiality. Monthly talks by renowned national and international photographers, frequent outings to explore diverse landscapes as well as regular competitions, give both novice and experienced photographers the opportunity to bring their skills to new levels.

I have particularly enjoyed the special interest and evaluation groups which offer individual feedback with more in-depth instruction and discussion on specified topics. These group meetings have enhanced not only my skills but also my creativity.

I would strongly recommend joining the TDPC for any photographer seeking a dynamic hub for inspiration and growth.

Expand Your Horizons!

In 2010 I attended my first meeting of the Toronto Digital Photography Club. To my pleasant surprise, I was made to feel very welcome right from that evening.

The exposure to like-minded folks with an interest in photography continues to be a source of inspiration. So many people, with different interests, willing to share their knowledge, combined with the resident and guest speakers, have allowed me to continue to grow as a photographer in ways I might never have imagined.

One of the greatest features of the club is the evaluation groups. In these informal settings, a mentor, and a small group of one’s peers discuss how we might improve our photographic images. The members often share their images in competitive or non-competitive events.

A club like ours is volunteer run. My eight years on the board of directors in a variety of roles, including President and later Competition Director has been rewarding. I am currently the club’s representative to the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs where I also serve as the Judge Chair.

A Great Experience!

I have been a member of the TDPC for over 12 years.

Being a member of the club has helped me improve and fine tune my skills both in my composition and editing skills. The club members are so much fun and willing to share their expertise. I have enjoyed many day and weekend outings to places I would not normally go to on my own.

The evaluation groups have been valuable in helping me to critique my work and try new techniques.

Being part of the club has been a very good experience for me. I have made many friends and find the club members are a sociable and enthusiastic group of photographers. There are some excellent guest speakers that are truly inspirational.
