Our guest speaker tonight is our very own member, Anthony Schatzky, with his presentation “Seeing Things Differently – Abstracts & Graphic Photography”.
Abstract/graphic photography is a genre of photography that is not spoken about a lot in camera clubs. However, this category of photography has a rich history within the world of the photographic arts. It is an area of photography which is hard to define, to interpret and difficult to judge.
Seeing Things Differently aims to provide camera club members with a better appreciation for and understanding of abstract and graphic photography.

• Specializes in making abstract and graphic photography
• Was a 10-year member of the Toronto Camera Club (Past-president, “Speaking Photography” lecture series chair and chair of various competitions)
• Is a 5-year member of the Toronto Digital Photography Club (Evaluation group mentor)
• Is an O3C judge (12 years, judge for numerous clubs and international competitions) and has trained O3C Judges in Training
• Has won awards: Camera clubs, O3C Interclub competitions, TCC’s International Salon, on-line sites
• Has exhibited in galleries: Fleck Gallery, Arta Gallery, Dignam Gallery
