Outing to East Don River Trail

Please join us on April 29 at 7:00 PM for a walk along the East Don Trail to look for wildlife and a few landscape shots. The trail is paved and mostly flat. Depending on what we find, we might walk up to 8 km but will probably walk less. We will meet at the East Don Trail Parking lot at the end of Old Lawrence Ave. Heading east from Don Mills, the entrance is just past the entrance to the Don Valley Parkway on the south side of Lawrence. Note that there are two parking lots on the way down the hill and we will meet at the lower parking lot. You can try putting the following code into your GPS: PMQC+F5 North York, Ontario.

We recommend you bring your camera plus a lens suitable for birds and other wildlife. You might also want to bring something like a 24-105 for landscapes if this interests you. Tripods are optional but would be useful if you want to blur running water. We will have about 90 minutes before dusk so you might want to prepare for some low-light photography. Please be prompt as we will want to start the walk just after 7:00 PM.
