From a young age, I have been fascinated by nature and all its wonders. This fascination has led me to travel the world and observe these great wonders. As time passed by, I wanted to share my observations with my friends and family. I experimented with a few tools such as painting and writing, in which I failed miserably, as I could do neither. Eventually I found out that photography was just the right tool to capture something quickly in a way that was close to what I have observed.
My initial photographs were taken with my father’s film camera. Having limited knowledge on how to use the camera, I used P (Auto) mode, and clicked away hundreds of rolls of film. As the digital era came around, I bought a digital camera and sought out ways of improving my skills, as I wanted to capture images similar to the ones that appeared on popular photographic books and magazines. To accomplish this, I joined the Toronto Digital Photography Club whose members over the past few years have mentored and educated me as I set off on my journey to improve my photographic skills.
