I got interested in photography when we received a camera as a wedding gift almost 50 years ago. In the early days I mostly took photos of our kids.
As we began to travel more, and particularly started to do hiking trips, I started to take more landscape shots. It was often the reward at the end of a long hike.
As our kids got older and left the house we started to travel more extensively and my photography avenues expanded. I have most recently (partially due to Covid) developed more of an interest in street and people photography. I find there is nothing more relaxing than going out with a friend or two, cameras in hand and discovering new areas. Sometimes we even get a good image or two!
