Outing to Parc Omega
Tuesday–Thursday, May 26–28, 2026 (2 nights)
Why late May?
Late May is an outstanding time to visit. Baby animals are very commonly seen throughout the park at this time of year — including young wolves, bears, wild boar, elk, deer, and more. Wildlife activity is high, spring greenery is fresh, and daylight hours are long, providing excellent photographic opportunities.
Accommodations:
Members are responsible for arranging their own lodging. Options include:
-
In-park accommodations at Parc Omega (chalets, cabins, pods), many of which include park admission. Most units have multiple beds.
-
Nearby Vrbo or cottage rentals in the Montebello / Outaouais area, often more economical when shared.
-
Hotels, motels, and inns in the village of Montebello.
Logistics:
Parc Omega is best accessed by car, and photography is primarily vehicle-based. Early morning and evening light tend to be most productive. Food options inside the park are limited, so meals can be planned in Montebello or self-catered depending on accommodations.
