Presentation

Editing is always important in photography to help you tell your visual story.  For me, editing in black and white is even more important than in other genres.  You need it to get the tonality that is required and to help create the piece of art that you envisioned in the field.  I will showcase a few examples of how I created bold visual artistic stories as well as walk you through my detailed editing process.  All in the hopes of helping you create your own bold black and white stories.

Bio

Lee has a never-ending thirst for adventure, exploring and capturing the mountains’ bold stories and the roads less traveled.  From the time Lee got his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic, to 2015, Lee was always interested in photography.  An avid amateur, Lee’s dad inspired him to take up photography.  Lee would carry his camera with him on family vacations and explore Northern Alberta’s forests with his father and the Rockies on family vacations.  In February 2015, Lee’s journey took a big step forward when he got inspired to become a student in the art of photography while standing on the frozen tundra under the dancing aurora.  It was also in 2015 when Lee got inspired to pursue black and white landscape photography while attending a black and white portrait workshop.  The next major milestone for Lee in his journey was in 2017, when he set up his own photography business. Lee’s passion as a photographer and business owner is the endless journey of learning and helping others learn photography.
