In this presentation, Club member Luba Citrin will share with you her approach to creating storytelling, compelling still life images. Through samples, she will cover different types of still life photography, technical aspects, execution and post-processing.
She will show you, in video and time-lapse format, the creation of one the still life images from scratch.
Luba was a computer specialist by profession, until she took an early retirement in 2010, and bought her first digital camera to take on canoe, camping and travel journeys. Since then, photography has become her passion, an obsession, and a means to express herself through her images. She enjoys all aspects of photography – nature,?landscape, still life, and has fun creating?altered-reality images that have won many awards. Luba is a member of both the Richmond Hill Camera Club?and?the Toronto Digital Photography Club. She is also an accredited judge with the ?Ontario Council of Camera Clubs and a member of Luminancefoto group that exhibits in Toronto once or twice per year.
