This presentation will take you behind the “No Trespassing” signs and inside some amazing abandoned buildings, while giving helpful tips on how to break the law to capture amazing photographs.
Bio
Sean Galbraith is a self-trained photographer who specializes in going places you’re not supposed to go. Since 2005, his specialty has been sneaking into abandoned buildings and photographing their ruinous state. While he started in the digital era, he soon transitioned to film and for over a decade shot primarily 4×5 film. More recently, he’s transitioned again to digital medium format, a move his knees
appreciated greatly. His work has been exhibited in a dozen or so galleries in Ontario, including the Art Gallery of Ontario and is part of the permanent collection at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in New Brunswick and the Ottawa Art Gallery.
