"One of my favourite quotes is “Taking pictures is savouring life intensely, every hundredth of a second” by French photographer Marc Riboud.
Photography has forced me to stop and look closely, study and appreciate things in life that otherwise are taken for granted. For example, a bee hovering over a flower is no longer just an annoying insect we try to stay away from. In front of the camera it becomes a majestic creature, and up close you can’t help but notice the work it does that has reproduced flowers for millions of years. So you snap a picture, and you have something that you would otherwise have never paid attention to.
This is the reason I don’t specialize on a subject. I want to see everything. I am a “Jack of all trades”. I enjoy all types of photography and shoot any subject that I have a chance to. My style is minimalistic. I try to show the subject in the simplest way possible with minimal distractions.
I like images with impact and will use whatever software I have available to achieve it, while still aiming to keep the subject at its truest form (Altered Reality photos excepted).
